The Art of Moroccan Craftsmanship

Meeting Our Artisans

Welcome to the heart of Moroccan craftsmanship, where every TaklidiHome coat becomes a timeless piece of art.
Step behind the scenes and discover the ancestral knowledge of our artisans — true guardians of a rich and precious heritage — and explore the depth and complexity of traditional Moroccan weaving.

I. Wool Harvesting

Our artisans travel across Morocco’s mountainous regions to source wool from local sheep, carefully selecting the finest and most durable fibers.
By preserving harvesting techniques passed down through generations, they maintain a deep connection to the land and Moroccan traditions.

II. Dyeing & Spinning

The wool fibers are dyed using natural pigments derived from local plants and spices, creating authentic, warm, and earthy tones.
Each fiber is then hand-spun by skilled artisans, transforming dyed wool into strong and refined threads — a process that demands patience and mastery.

III. Traditional Loom Weaving

On traditional wooden looms, our artisans weave with precision and calm, interlacing threads to create elegant and intricate patterns.
The beauty of Moroccan weaving lies in hand-pattern techniques, where every thread is carefully placed to form refined and distinctive designs.

IV. Embroidery & Finishing Touches

Using fine needles and high-quality threads, artisans add hand-embroidered details that bring subtle elegance to each coat.
Final assembly — including sleeves and hoods — is completed with care to ensure durability, comfort, and long-lasting quality.

At TaklidiHome, our artisans are more than craftsmen — they are the keepers of Moroccan heritage.
Every coat we create is the result of their dedication, skill, and passion, capturing the true essence of Morocco and its centuries-old craftsmanship.
